Jay Devlin

Prior to joining CMA in 2011, Jay spent eight years working in residential real estate sales and development in Chicago. He successfully worked with individuals, investors, and developers implementing strategies to acquire and sell properties. He was consistently ranked as a top-producing agent by the Chicago Association of Realtors.

Before real estate, Jay lived in San Francisco, working in corporate sales for PR Newswire, the leading global marketing and communications solutions provider. While at PR Newswire, Jay won several sales awards including the President’s Club Award for top sales. Jay earned his Bachelor of Science in History and Minor in Economics from DePauw University in Indiana.

Michele Richards, PCAM

Michele was promoted in 2009 from Division Manager to Vice President after beginning her career with CMA in 2003. Michele was promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO ) in 2023. Michele has been awarded the Community Association Institute’s (CAI) most prestigious designation of PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager). She is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and overseeing the general operations of CMA.

Before joining CMA, Michele was a manager for Delta Air Lines for 15 years. She also served her community as a Fulton County Reserve Deputy for 10 years. Michele is originally from the Great White North (Canada, eh?) and holds her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Carleton University Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

H. Peter Gant, CPA

Peter joined CMA in 2016 as Vice President of Accounting with responsibilities over the Accounting, Closing/Legal & Transition teams. In 2023, Peter became Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He is a CPA with over 20 years of accounting & financial management experience, including startups, multiple operations, international, and consolidations. He approaches the “Operations” of Accounting with a focus on driving efficiencies through technology & process alignment.

Before joining CMA, he spent 17 years in telecom & technology services. Most recently, he served as VP-Finance at Apto Solutions where he worked with ownership to develop long-term growth strategies, expanded reporting & client profitability analysis, and securing new business lines of credit. Peter is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and has served on a number of scholarship boards & charitable organizations. He is an active volunteer with his church’s children’s ministry along with local school & sports activities.

Dennis F. Hoffman, PCAM

Prior to co-founding CMA, Dennis spent three years working for another association management company and developed a reputation as one of the finest managers in the community association management industry in Atlanta.  He was one of the first managers in the Atlanta area to obtain the Community Association Institute (CAI) designation as a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM).  He also holds a Georgia Real Estate Broker’s license.

Before starting his association management career, he worked in the government sector in the human resource area.  Dennis has a degree in accounting from the University of San Francisco and an MBA from the University of California Berkeley.

Richard Maritt, PCAM

After spending six dynamic years in the property management sector, serving both as a portfolio manager and an onsite association manager, Richard took a significant step in his career by joining CMA in January 2010. His deep understanding of community dynamics was further enriched by his years of dedicated service on his own HOA Board of Directors, where he gained firsthand experience in governance and community engagement.

Originally hailing from various states—including Kansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and three cities in Texas—Richard finally made Georgia his home in 1998. His diverse background includes a successful tenure as a corporate trainer and a strategic IT/Operations liaison in the hotel industry. Over the years, he mastered the intricacies of launching new hotels, transitioning them between brands, and efficiently managing multiple locations. This experience translated seamlessly into his role in association management, allowing him to adapt quickly and effectively.

Armed with a degree in Information Technology and a minor in Accounting, Richard also honed his skills in competitive debating and public speaking, which proved invaluable when he developed CMA’s inaugural training program. After serving diligently as the Director of Training, he was elevated to the position of Vice President of Professional and Organizational Development in 2023. By January 2024, Richard advanced again to assume the role of Vice President of Operations at CMA, where he continues to drive success and innovation.

In addition to his professional qualifications, Richard is accredited by the Community Association Institute (CAI), holding the prestigious designations of Association Management Specialist (AMS) and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM).

Outside of his professional life, Richard has a passion for discovering new places, soaking up the culture, and trying local foods. He loves to travel, hike scenic trails, and explore diverse culinary experiences with his partner and friends, making the most of his time away from work.

Sarah Smith, PCAM

Sarah began her career in association management in 2001 after graduating with a degree in Marketing and Management. She has worked in almost every facet of association management over the years from assistant manager to portfolio manager to Director of Management Operations and Business Development.

Sarah was promoted in 2023 to Vice President, Sales & Marketing.

Sarah holds the prestigious designation of PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager) from CAI (the Community Associations Institute).

Dr. Beau Rappe

Dr. Beau Rappe is a Human Resource professional with experience working in Government, Education, Military, Healthcare, and private industry. He has a Doctorate in Applied Cultural Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a Strategic Human Resource Management Professional/ SHRM-CP. He is also a national speaker on the subjects of Servant Leadership, Compassion Fatigue, Preventing/Recovery of Toxic Work Environments, Creating Work-Life Balance, Religious Diversity, and Cultural Diversity and Inclusion.

Dr. Beau has had the honor of being recognized by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, receiving the Katie Loxton Award for 10 years of service, and by Habitat for Humanity for fundraising and volunteer recruiting. He has also had honorable mentions by the Jewish Anti-Defamation and Amnesty International for his work promoting the rights of impoverished and marginalized people. One of the building blocks of Dr. Beau’s professional philosophy originates from Albert Einstein’s quote:

“Stay away from negative people. They have a problem with every solution”.

Dr. Beau resides with his family in the Fulton County area. His passions are family, horses, charities, reading world history, and martial arts.

James Bailey

James’s career journey began in the hotel industry, working with the Ritz Carlton, where he honed his skills before making a significant transition to staffing luxury high-rise condominiums. This shift not only demonstrated his adaptability but also enriched his professional experience. His journey continued as he ventured into entrepreneurship, eventually leading to the acquisition of his company by a prominent firm. Post-acquisition, James took charge of the firm’s growth and operations in Atlanta, with a keen focus on customer experience, property values, team building, and results. His exceptional expertise and achievements caught the attention of the largest firm in North America, which recruited him to manage elite clients in the Atlanta area.

James’s leadership and strategic management skills were recognized when CMA appointed him to oversee the onsite client division. His role is pivotal in aligning the portfolio with the company’s results-driven management style and enhancing the client experience.

James, a native of Vero Beach, Florida, is not just a seasoned professional but also a devoted father to two teenage boys. In his leisure time, he indulges in his passion for competitive cycling, outdoor activities, and the appreciation of fine food and drink.

Will Stanley

As Director of Association Management for Georgia, Will supports our team of Community Association Managers to ensure that CMA delivers exceptional community association management services and top-notch customer support to each of our clients. Will initially joined CMA as a Community Association Manager and later served as Vendor Relations Manager, where he honed his skills in community management, operations management, vendor relations, and financial stewardship.

Will is a seasoned community association professional with an unwavering commitment to excellence and customer-centric leadership. With over a decade-long tenure at CMA, Will has demonstrated an unparalleled ability to navigate complex challenges and drive transformative growth for our clients and across the company. His ability to effectively convey complex information and engage diverse audiences has been a driving force behind his success in fostering strong relationships and driving positive change for our clients and team.

Will is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications and holds a Georgia real estate sales license.

Robyn Hicks

Robyn joined CMA in 2007 after a 16 year career with Delta Airlines.

She began her career at CMA as a portfolio manager and was promoted to the position of Division Manager in 2010.  She later moved to the Florida Panhandle where she was instrumental in opening the first CMA office in the state.  Robyn served as the Business Development Manager until her promotion to Director of Association Management in 2023.

Robyn resides in Freeport, FL with her husband Clayton and two rescue dogs, Oreo and Cali.  She enjoys spending time at the beach with family and friends and has a passion for travel (cruising in particular) and visiting her son, Ryan, who resides in Stuart, Florida.
